| About Andy Piggott |
I bought my first camera (an Olympus Trip 35) in 1979 and was hooked from the first roll of film. In 1981 I became a professional photographer after migrating form England to Australia. For 8 years I operated a professional darkroom making hand printed enlargements using the Cibachrome process. In 1997 I taught myself Photoshop and moved to digital fully in 2003. Most of my professional photography over the last few years has been travel images. They have been published in Asia, Australia, USA and the UK. Used in photography magazines and books, on calanders and travel brochures, in-flight magazines and advertising. I have taught photography and Photoshop (Adobe Certified Expert) to individuals and to groups both in casual and in corporate environments. I now teach photography through practical hands-on classes. |
