"Just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for a great time on your Morning Photography Course. I had taken a similar course almost 2 years ago and had forgotten some of the content and was struggling with some of my photos.
I now know what you mean when you say you know when you have taken a good photo. Attached is a photo I took of someone one the train on my way home. Even before taking the photo I knew what it would look like. Normally I don't like asking people if I could take a photo of them but I just had to. Thanks and I look forward to your other courses. Kind regards, Sussanah Teng" |

These 3 hour workshops will show you how to take control of your digital camera with confidence and create better images. With a maximum class size of only 10 students there is plenty of personal attention. Starting with the absolute basics beginners will learn everything nedded to control their camera. For those who know the basics the structure of the class allows the student to take thier photography to the next level. Subjects covered by the class include; Exposure: How to get consistantly good exposures that capture the widest range of tones possible. Learn how to use the Histogram, Exposure Compensation, Bracketing and Exposure Lock. You will learn how to use White Balance to give accurate colour and how to use it as a creative tool. Warm up portraits, turn daylight in to night! We will experiment with Shutter Speeds to freeze moving subjects or to introduce controlled speed blur. I will show you how to throw distracting backgrounds out of focus (and how to keep intersting ones in sharp focus) by controlling Depth of Field. We will look at accessories including filters, lenshoods and flashes. |
